Welcome

A very warm welcome to Ashgrove Nursery school.  My name is Paula Toale and I am proud and privileged to serve as Principal of this long established and much-loved Nursery at the heart of the Newry community.

At Ashgrove Nursery, we believe that the early years are a time of wonder, discovery and growth.  Our caring, dedicated and enthusiastic team work together to create a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.  We place strong emphasis on developing the whole child, socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually through a play based child centred curriculum that inspires curiosity and builds confidence.

Early intervention and inclusion are central to our ethos.  We work closely with families and outside agencies to ensure that every child's individual needs are met, supporting them on their lifelong learning journey. We value our partnerships with parents and the wider community.  Together, we celebrate the small but significant milestones that make nursery such a magical time in a child's life.
